| Paranormal Experiences Reported by Property Owners |
|
| International Falls is a small town on the Canadian
border, and many in the area have had unexplainable
experiences in the building. The SIM Crew was pleased to
host an afternoon event scheduled by the owner titled "meet
the investigators" which was attended by many area
residents and current and past employees of the coffee shop.
The event was scheduled so that residents of International
Falls who had experiences in the building could share with
us their experiences. |
| Former employees shared many experiences with us. |
| |
|
Money taken out of tip jars, to be
replaced by twice the amount the following day |
|
|
Sounds of someone walking into the
building when the shop was closed and the door shut tight.
The former employee reporting this reported it happened
several times while he was alone in the building cleaning up
the kitchen. Finally, he would leave a cup of coffee out on
the counter for the spirits. |
| |
|
Feelings that someone was watching them |
| |
|
Cold spots, especially in the basement,
uncomfortable feelings |
| |
|
Glass lamp shades falling to the floor
for no apparent reason |
| The upstairs, now a single family residence under
renovation, was originally two separate apartments. Two of
our investigators while doing a walkthrough of the property
the month before the investigation. They were upstairs in
the residence talking with the property owners when suddenly
a large, heavy hanging plant crashed to the floor. The plant
hook in the ceiling was intact, it was as if
something/someone took it off the hook and let it drop. |
| After setting up equipment throughout the building on
all floors the investigation began. Two teams were formed,
Team 1 included Jerry, Stephanie, Jaffe, and one of the
property owners; Team 2 included Mae, George, and the other
property owner. Team 1 was to first investigate the
basement, while Team 2 investigated the upstairs residence. |
| Much activity was experienced by both teams, both
upstairs and in the basement. The basement was the most
active, and both teams noted highly active K2 readings in
the basement. Upstairs both teams recorded K2 activity, as
well as feeling a presence there. |
| We wrapped up at 1:00am, after an eventful
investigation. Our personal experiences abounded, and the
owner and her fiancée were both intrigued by their
experience. |
| We were gratified that our personal experiences were
backed up by much evidence. |
| |
|
EVP's were many and captured different
voices |
|
|
|
Video footage of orbs appearing at the
same time the investigators experienced a strong cologne
odor |
| |
|
Still photographs of many orbs |
| The building, built in the 1920's was built by the
Raucher brothers. The property was owned by the Raucher
family until 1981. The original owners and their families
have all passed on, but it is thought that a few of them
still remain in this building, on the other side of the
veil. The building was first used as a butcher shop; a
grocery store; and finally the current use, a coffee shop. |
| Coffee Landing's owners reviewed the evidence with Mae
and George, and were surprised by our findings. Though they
went into the investigation with hopes that we would not
find evidence of a supernatural presence in the building,
they could not deny the evidence. They have invited the SIM
Crew to return for a follow up investigation sometime in the
Fall. |
