| Arrival |
|
|
| We arrived at the double bungalow
style home in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 7:00 pm. Our clients
live in one side of the double bungalow and it has one-story
plus a finished basement. Resident’s Experiences The team
was briefed by the residents of the home about the activity they
have been experiencing. The children, ages 5 to 13, claimed that
they been experiencing a presence in the home, that was not
always kind to them. The oldest girl stated that voices told her
to do bad things. The boy, around 13, claimed that the ghost
scratched him. They called us because the children were afraid,
and the boy would no longer sleep in his room in the
basement.The children told us that they saw the “little
girl” quite a lot, and that this entity had followed them
to Minnesota from their home in Mexico. The oldest girl told us
that the ghost was also at their former residence in Mexico, and
was a little girl. The three adults in the home had experienced
some unexplainable events, but declined to label them as
paranormal. One of the stories they told us was about the wall
shaking and a picture falling off for no apparent reason. |

| The Investigation |
|
|
| As we walked through the house we
noticed that we could hear the neighbors on the other side of
the bungalow. We could hear them talking, laughing, singing, and
making lots of noise. We heard the children who live there and
we could hear them running through the house and heard several
loud bangs. We also had high EMF readings in parts of the home.
As we were setting up our equipment, our night vision cameras
wouldn’t work. An oddity, they both registered dead
batteries, however the batteries were new and it gave us the
same message after new batteries had been inserted. We tried
several times to no avail. We couldn’t get them to work. We
did EVP work both upstairs and downstairs. As the evening
progressed, none of us felt, heard or saw anything paranormal.
However, when the family returned, and the two oldest children
who had told us of the ghosts went down to the boy’s
bedroom with Jerry and Mae. The girl said immediately that the
ghost was in the corner of the room and they went to that area
where they had several hits on the K2 meter, as if something was
answering the questions they were asking. We wrapped up the
investigation and went home. |

| The Evidence |
|
|
| We were surprised to find several
voices on our recordings that weren’t ours, nor were they
the neighbors. There was a lot of noise interference during our
EVP sessions, however, there were several times in which there
were voices talking over ours and at times, answering our
questions. After going through the EVP’s several times we
realized there were a few different voices. We feel that one of
them is a malevolent entity, as we heard some things that were
concerning. That paired with the teenage girl’s story that
something had told her to do something bad concerned us greatly.

| The Reveal |
|
|
| The reveal was set up with the
adult residents only to protect the children from anything
frightening. We began the reveal by explaining some of the
things we had debunked, such as the picture falling story. We
told our clients that we had noticed that their neighbors were
active and quite loud. We also indicated that a bump to the wall
could send a picture falling to the floor, and that the story
they had told us likely had nothing to do with the paranormal.
We then began listening to the many recordings/ EVP’s. When
we played the malevolent recording and told them that we deemed
it to be an antagonistic entity. We expressed our concern about
the safety of the two teenage children. Clearly, the girl is a “sensitive”,
and the both of them showed great interest in what we did and
our equipment, and we voiced our concern that children should
not be permitted to do any investigation on their own, nor be
allowed to purchase recorders and other ghost hunting equipment.
We suggested that they have their home blessed by a Catholic
Priest to try and rid the home of the malevolent entity. They
agreed and we arranged for a priest to come out to their home
and bless it, which occurred shortly there after. |

| Conclusion |
|
|
| We were surprised that during our
investigation our members didn’t pick up on anything
supernatural. None of us felt or saw a presence there which is
highly unusual. The recordings of the voices surprised all of
us, especially the malicious voice. We were very happy that the
residents took our recommendations seriously, and had the home
blessed. We had a conversation with the residents after the
blessing and they indicated that there had been no paranormal
activity since that time. They are pleased. This is the first
time the SIM crew has had evidence of an unkind entity, and we
thank the Catholic Church for quickly responding to our request.
