| On the Subject of Orbs |
|
| Orbs are a natural
phenomena produced by a host of materials and objects. Moisture,
dust, light reflections, and insects are the most common causes
that make up these spheres in photographs. The orbs that we are
most interested in, are those of supernatural design, produced
by a ghostly presence. During our investigations, we commonly
shoot still photos to detect these paranormal orbs as well as
ghost manifestations. We routinely discover lots of orbs in our
photos, but only a small percentage of them are supernatural in
design. |

| How to differentiate?
A dust, moisture, or reflection orb can range from transparent
to a solid color. Most likely its color will be is at the warm
end of the color spectrum, mainly red, orange, yellow and so on.
An orb caused by paranormal activity is at the cool end of the
spectrum, think white, blue or green, and contains its own
light. It is opaque in design, and almost looks like a cell
under the microscope, has a definite hard outline, and many
times they show movement, i.e., a tail. |

| What are paranormal
orbs? Are they ghosts? Orbs are a collection of energy, and at
SIM we believe that supernatural orbs are not in essence ghosts,
but are highly indicative of a paranormal presence. We typically
look for orbs in all photos, but especially ones taken during
EVP sessions where we have confirmed disembodied voices. In our
experience, we have discovered orbs in photos taken when we have
felt, seen, or heard a presence not of this world.

| Electronic Voice
Phenomena is a gold standard in the world of paranormal
investigation. Ghost hunters greatly rely on EVP’s for
substantiation of the presence of the supernatural. EVP Sessions
are essentially the act of capturing the voice of a spirit. |
|
| How do you acquire an
EVP? SIM utilizes highly sensitive digital voice recorders
during investigations. A large percentage of disembodied voices
cannot be heard with the human ear, but are often times picked
up on a recording. During an EVP session we ask questions and
chat leaving plenty of room for an answer or comment from the
other side. Sometimes our recordings reveal a disembodied voice
talking over our own voices, and not during the silence we
typically give after talking. |

| Why are
disembodied voices so difficult to hear? SIM believes that
supernatural beings have trouble maintaining enough energy to be
seen or heard in our world. Sometimes they are successful, and
we hear and see them with our own ears and eyes. The majority of
the time though, they can be caught on these sensitive voice
recorders due to their highly sensitive nature. |

believes that EVP’s that cannot be explained, or what we
refer to as debunked, are factual substantiation of a
supernatural presences, voices from beyond. |
